Mr. President,
TAPOL, International Coalition of Papua (ICP), Franciscans International, VIVAT International-Indonesia, KontraS and LBH Jakarta urge the UN Special Rapporteurs on Freedom of Expression and Freedom of Assembly to raise the cases of killings, torture, mass arrests and excessive use of force against indigenous Papuans participating in activities commemorating 1 December with the Indonesian government.
TAPOL, ICP, Franciscans International, VIVAT International-Indonesia, KontraS dan LBH Jakarta telah mendesak Pelapor Khusus PBB untuk Kebebasa Berekspresi dan Kebebasan Berkumpul untuk membawa kasus-kasus pembunuhan, penyiksaan, penangkapan massa dan penggunaan kekuatan yang berlebihan terhadap orang adat asli Papua yang telah berpartisipasi dalam aktivitas-aktivitas uituk memperingati tanggal 1 Desember kepada pemerintah Indonesia.
TAPOL joins other humanitarian groups in urging the Government of Indonesia in conducting an impartial investigation for the killings of indigenous Papuan youth between 2006 and September 2015.
TAPOL urges the Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights Defenders to conduct in-depth monitoring into the deteriorating situation faced by Theo Hesegem, a human rights defender in West Papua.
TAPOL bersama 51 LSM lain dan anggota parliament keluarkan joint statement kepada Presiden Jokowi menuntut akses ke Papua untuk wartawan internasional, lembaga kemanusiaan dan lembaga HAM.
